First things first – go check out the WeWriWa blog for authors willing to share their writing with you. Some insights, some fun, always great snippets. Follow the graphic link. Also, new to #SnippetSunday – Hello!
Tau Scorpii A is a massive red giant star in a binary cluster with Tau Scorpii B, a yellow dwarf. The solar system is populated by more than thirty planets, at least one habitable. Called Sedna by the SolTerrans that live there, so named for a planet in their ancestral system.
When Taryn rescues another human from a marauding band of Caeruleum, she knows they won’t be happy their hunting party was interrupted. She also knows, the male human is as likely to be as angry and unforgiving as his former captors. On Sedna, the desert isn’t safe for aliens. The catch is, most species on the planet are alien, and fighting for survival.
Garrett is a warlord of a rival clan, and while they aren’t enemies, they aren’t allies either. That is, until they uncover a scheme that would destroy his home and make them all slaves to the merciless barbarians.
Okay then. We’re still with Tau Scorpii this week. My MCs have found their way into the city, haven’t gotten themselves in too much trouble (yet), and are looking to reunite Garrett with his clansmen.

“I mistook you for a Ranger, you’re not.”
“It’s one of the jobs I’ve have.”
“What are the others?” Garrett asked, having an idea, and losing the thought as he saw a glimpse of someone he might recognize, a familiar voice, a laugh, caught his attention. “Ianto,” he called out.
It wasn’t a common name. “Ianto Vellen, clan Tycho Alles?” she stood on her tiptoes, trying to see where he was looking.
“Ianto Black, clan Alles Aran,” Garrett corrected.
She spotted him first, pale blond hair bringing back a rush of memories from her childhood, and she pushed through the crowd towards him. “Yan,” she yelled, a nickname he’d know, if it was him, knowing it wasn’t possible. They had all died, years ago.

Next week – some new characters! It’s pretty interesting, writing a romance. I’m looking at an autumn release date. I’d also like to win the lottery! 😉
Of course, The Wildblood series is in progress as well. Check out the available books, and anything I haven’t mentioned here. See you next week.
