This is a note to let those of you following my books know what’s happening here, in my Real Life.
Bloodlines was released in Jan., 2019, followed by the box set of The Wildblood: Trilogy One in July, 2019. I’ve been promising new books all this time, and the absolute truth is, I am writing. I have three books in progress. One is the lead-in to the next Wildblood series, another isn’t far enough along to have anything other than the working title Cascadia. The third is Tau Scorpii. I have grand plans of getting all three out in 2020.
The reason I’m posting, and the reason I may not get to my writing goals is probably not apparent but to one or two of you.
It’s not widely known in the internet world, because of a lot of reasons I can’t discuss. My husband has terminal cancer. He might have a year, he might have two. Odds are against him, but we have to remain hopeful. Truthfully, he likely has six months. He has already defied the odds, so maybe we are wrong about it, but he is ill, he will not recover from this.
In the meantime, I write when I can. We are spending as much time with our family as possible, and taking it day by day.
I’m not going to stop writing, although there will be a break when you don’t hear from me. If we are very lucky, that will be years from now.
My regular newsletters will resume after the first of the year. I may trim them back to every other week until I get close to a release date. I don’t know which book will work it’s way out first. I’m excited about all three.
Thank you for reading this far. I thought it was only fair, to let you know why I haven’t really been around much recently.
