Check out WeWriWa and Snippet Sunday for authors sharing their works. There are some great books to be found!
Okay. It’s apparently Saturday. My schedule got changed, I may appear confused for a couple weeks. Until they change the schedule again for our busy season. Joy. The good news is, this opens up my free time quite a bit, and I may actually get these two books out when I planned. How weird would that be?
Today, we have a casual conversation between a couple of men. Creative punctuation, and this is an unedited draft. I’m looking at a cover reveal soon, or as soon as I pinpoint the title stuff. It’s so tough, to title. Blurbing is worse. 😉
The constellation Scorpius. Al Niyat is the real Tau Scorpii.
Blurb – Tau Scorpii
When Taryn rescues another human from a marauding band of Caeruleum, she is reunited with clansmen long believed dead. It puts her at odds with their new chieftan, as well as her own partner, a powerful privateer. They discover, they have a more imminent problem, and must unite to survive.
The weather is changing. They’ll have to fight other species for control as migrations begin, food becomes scarce, and border wars erupt across the territories. Humans are no longer at the top of the food chain.
Tau Scorpii A, a massive red giant star in a binary cluster with Tau Scorpii B, a yellow dwarf. The solar system is populated by more than thirty planets, at least one habitable. Called Sedna by the SolTerrans that live there, named for a planet in their ancestral system. The desert is a dangerous place for alien species – and on Sedna, they’re all alien species.

“I never thought I’d see that, Skye, infatuated,” Ianto admitted.
“I don’t think that’s the word I’d use – I’d say, interested,” Garrett disagreed.
“We’ve seen him with women before and this feels different to me.”
“He’s not talking about it.”
“Exactly. What do we do?”
“Does he interfere with your personal life?”
“All the time, this is Skye, he’s always in our business,” Ianto laughed, seeing humor, and irony, in the question.
“True,” Garrett conceded. “You said, this seems different, maybe it is, and maybe we should let him figure it out.” He could see his friend was concerned. “You aren’t worried about Taryn?”
“I’m worried because it’s Taryn.”

Next week, what Skye and Taryn think about it. In the meantime, a promo for The Wildblood series, because book 3 is rolling out soon.
